Today, sunday September 2nd 2018, (labour day week end) I arrived at the canteen about 10 minutes before 6pm.There was a CLOSED sign in the window and one of the employee inside told me that it was closed. They close at 6 she says.The problem with this is that there is a big sign outside the canteen with the opening and closing hours on it. It is supposed to close at 7 pm according to the sign. Other potential clients arrived in the mean time only to find out that it was closed. I waited in the parking lot, talking with someone until the lady inside came out. I asked her about the closing time and she said they now close at 6 pm. I told her that the sign outside mention that the closing time is at 7 pm, and that it is the second time within a week that I arrive way before 7 pm, only to find the canteen closed. She said yes but we close at 6 now. (That is the owners daughter)OWNER or EMPLOYEES! Can you change the hours on the big board outside to indicate the true closing time. Very frustrating when on the road in this area and planning to stop at that canteen to eat, as there are not too many restaurants in the area.
Fast Food known for the bbq sauce on poutine. Burgers are small. Kind and friendly service. Cash only.

I love this place! Staff is super friendly and nice, portions are very well sized (believe me, if you order that hot chicken, itll fill you up. And heres green peas too! ) Id definitely come here again anytime!
